Press channel for large bale baler - has side walls offset for easier access to plunger

In an agricultural big-bale press-baler, in the region of the front end position of the press plunger (7) the side walls (2') of the press channel (1) are offset outwards. The offset is for a length corresponding at least to the outer distance of the rollers (9) on each side, by an amount by which the rollers (9) stand laterally above the press plunger (7). In this region there are guide tracks (11') detachably connected with the side walls (2'). USE/ADVANTAGE - the cost of assembling or dismantling of the press plunger is reduced. The dangers of accident are removed.
