Textile article adapted to serve both as a cover for a child's car safety seat and as a baby's sleeping bag

The textile article consists of a substantially rectangular main panel intended to receive the body of a young child, which main panel is extended along a large portion of its upper edge by a second median panel, the free edge of which opposite its join to the said main panel is equipped with gathering means suitable for shaping the said second panel into a wide pocket. The main panel has a first pair of slots 10 at a level corresponding substantially with that of the shoulders of the child when it is laid down and a second pair of slots at a level corresponding substantially to that of the hips of the child, the said slots being adapted for the passage of straps 22 and 23 of the child's car-seat safety harness, whilst the wide pocket covers the upper part of the back of the said seat.
