PURPOSE:To provide a space machine utilizing the gravitational gradient and performing the semi-permanent orbit control with no life limitation due to the fuel quantity without using fuel by providing two portions and a cord connecting them. CONSTITUTION:A space machine is constituted of two portions 1, 2 and a cord 3 connecting them. The length of the cord 3 can be freely changed. A reel, a driving system and a power source are stored in one or two of the portions 1, 2. The space machine is revolved on the orbit of the earth, sun, another planet or satellite while being rotated or vibrated centering on the cord. The speed of the orbit can be controlled when the length of the cord of the space machine is adjusted synchronously with the rotation or orbit revolution of the space machine.
