METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSLATION OF ADJECTIVE CLAUSE IN NATURAL LANGUAGE

PURPOSE:To reduce load required for meaning analysis by executing the word analysis and syntax analysis of an input sentence written by an original language, and an adjective clause and a modified noun satisfy fixed conditions, regarding the whole adjective clause as one word. CONSTITUTION:A table collating part 4 divides an adjective clause into a case element, an adverb element and a predicate element and whether the structure condition of the adjective clause and the condition of the modified noun are satisfied or not is checked. A discrimination is executed by using a rule table, and when the conditions are satisfied, the whole adjective clause is fixedly regarded as one word. Thereby the meaning analysis of a sentence expression based upon the predicate by means of a meaning analyzing part 5 is made unnecessary. A language converting/generating part 6 retrieves a converting/ generating dictionary 9 by using a keyword to obtain a translated word.
