PURPOSE:To liberate a user from the from troublesome management due to the presence of the same subfile in a library and an MT by reducing the pres ence of the same subfile in the library and the MT. CONSTITUTION:The above system is equipped with a retrieving means 4 which retrieves the subfile by subfile management data in a library file 8, canceling means 5 which cancels the pertinent subfile in the above mentioned library file 8 from the above mentioned retrieved result, preserving and canceling means 6 which preserves the pertinent subfile in the above mentioned library file 8 in a preserving medium 10, and cancels the above mentioned pertinent subfile from the above mentioned retrieved result, and restoring means 7 which retrieves the subfile by the subfile management data in the above mentioned preserving medium 10, and restores the pertinent subfile in the above mentioned library 8. Then, the subfile is retrieved, preserved, and canceled in an interactive form. The presence of the same subfilc in the plural MT is reduced, so that the waste of the preserving MT can be reduced, and the utilizing efficiency of the MT can be improved. Moreover, the processing is operated interactively from an online terminal equipment 2, so that the library can be easily operated even by an inexperienced user.
