PURPOSE:To allow the two-dimensional recording of diffracted X-rays in the position equidistant from a sample by providing a spherical surface on a stimulative phosphor. CONSTITUTION:The stimulative phosphor 2 has a hemispherical shape and the inside surface thereof is a recording surface for the diffracted X-rays. The sample 6 is disposed in the central position of the hermispherical stimulative phosphor 2 and the X-rays emitted from an X-ray source 4 are diffracted and transmitted by the sample and arrives at the inside surface of the stimulative phosphor 2. The diffracted X-ray image recorded as a latent image on the stimulative phosphor 2 is read out as fluorescence by irradiating the phosphor with a laser beam. This radiation image is two-dimensionally recorded in the position equidistant from the radiation generating source in this way.
