PURPOSE: To adjust the supply of gas for respiration to a respirator according to the respiration demanding quantity of aircrews. CONSTITUTION: A respiration demand quantity adjusting device includes an aneroid box 56, which acts together with a valve head 50 to limit the flow rate of the gas flowing from a respiration pressure control chamber 32. When the pressure in a aircraft is lowered, the aneroid box expands, moving the valve head 50. The end face 53 of a valve stem 51 supporting the valve head 50 detects the expansion pressure of the G suits of crews, and if there is G load, the valve head 50 is operated. This constitution increases control pressure and respiration gas pressure at an adjusting equipment port 13, as a result, the requirement of positive pressure respiration to protect the crews receiving G load at a high altitude is fulfilled.
