SECONDARY REGULATOR FOR DEMAND RESPIRATION

PURPOSE: To achieve a miniaturization of the conventional type and an easier operation concerning a secondary demand regulator. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus contains a regulator body 10, a poppet mounted therein, a diaphragm and a lever 214 having a part individually contacting the poppet and the diaphragm. Initial operation of a valve is performed in a large mechanical advantage and the subsequent operation is performed in a small mechanical advantage. Two valves are mounted compact and solidly within a valve body and a cover 58 of the regulator is made easy to mount or remove thereby facilitating the inspection of the valves.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
