PURPOSE:To obtain a collunarium easily sprayable with a sprayer and stably staying in the nasal cavity by compounding an active component and a polyvinyl acetal diethylamino acetate (AEA). CONSTITUTION:An active component such as antihistaminic agent, anti-allergic agent, vasoconstrictor, secretion suppressing agent, enzymatic antiphlogistic agent and anti-inflammatory agent is compounded with AEA. The amount of AEA is 0.1-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-8wt.% based on the total drug preparation. The objective collunarium can be prepared by dissolving each component other than AEA in refined water, adding AEA to the solution and, as necessary, adjusting the pH preferably to 4.0-6.0. The AEA in the solution is gelatinized in the nasal cavity and attached to the nasal mucosa to improve the residence of the collunarium and to slowly release the active compound from the gel matrix.
