PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing equipment 10 for a large-sized steel structure which is improved in the efficiency of a manufacturing line and an positioning device 11 for plate parts in the equipment 10. After efficiently arranging the plate parts 2, gripping them and taking them out, pushing them on the surface of steel plate material 1, bringing them into close contact (surface contact) with each other without the clearance 6 between the plate material 1 and the plate parts 2 and positioning the plate material 2 accurately and easily on a prescribed position on the plate material 1. CONSTITUTION:This equipment implements the following processes to prepare the plate parts 2 on a pallet 15 in advance in the order of fitting in sequence, to take them out in sequence and to push them on it, to support the lower part of the plate material 11 by an air bag pressure mechanism 30, to generate elastic deformation by the weight of the plate material to be flattened, to perform a rough positioning mechanically and to perform a final positioning by manual work.
