PURPOSE:To manufacture a sintered ore whose reducing powdering resistance is good without deteriorating its reduced property by mixing and pelletizing preliminarily a high alumina limonite under the existence of an FeO component of a proper quantity, and thereafter, adding other remaining sintering raw material, and mixing, pelletizing and sintering them. CONSTITUTION:A high FeO component ore, a returns and a high MgO component ore desirably are compounded to one kind or several kinds of high alumina limonite containing =2.4wt% Al2O3, and =2.0% crystal water, and a preliminarily mixed and pelletized matter raw material A of 5.8-20.0% FeO component, and about 1.0-5.0% MgO component desirably is prepared. Said raw material A is brought to preliminary mixing and granulation in advance by a mixer 1. Subsequently, to an obtained pelletized matter, lime stone and other remaining sintering raw material B are compounded as 6.5-12.0% CaO, and they are mixed and/or pelletized by a mixer 2, and thereafter, sintered by a sintering machine 3. In this way, the reducing powdering resistance and productivity of a sintered ore using the high alumina limonite as a part of the raw material are improved without deteriorating other quality.
