SEEDLING SUPPLY IN TRANSPLANTER AND SEEDLING SUPPLY UNIT

PURPOSE:To enable conveyance to a desired place without frictional resistance by conveying arranged seedlings in a state where the lower surface of a seedling-carrying container is located close to the upper surface of a seedling- supply conveyor. CONSTITUTION:In seedling-supply method in which arranged seedlings 30 are transferred from a seedling-carrying container 31 to a seedling-supply conveyor 12 of a transplanter, the seedling-carrying container 31 accommodating the arranged seedlings 30 is conveyed from an inlet 17 of the seedling-supply conveyor 12 to the forward 18 in a state where the lower surface of the container is located close to the upper surface of the seedling-supply conveyor 12. The seedling-carrying container 31 is then pulled-out while pushing the arranged seedlings 30 not so as to move and the arranged seedlings 30 are transferred from the seedlingcarrying container 31 to a seedling-supply conveyor 12.
