METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INDUCING ANTITUMOR IMMUNOCYTE

PURPOSE:To induce antitumor immunocyte having strong antitumor activity and cancer remedying activity from human leucocyte, by carrying out the removal of the immunosuppressive cell from leucocyte and the stimulation and activation of leucocyte. CONSTITUTION:A suspension of leucocyte is treated with the antibody against suppressor T cell, peanut lectin, antibody against monocyte, adsorbent such as glass bead, and antibody and complement against immunosuppressive cell, to remove the suppressor T cel, monocyte (preferably to a residual amount of 0.3- 0.6%) and immunosuppressive cell from the suspension. The treated leucocyte is suspended (at a cell concentration of 0.5-10X106/ml) in a medium containing 2-20% animal serum or human serum, and cultured in the presence of a proper amount of an insoluble carrier bonded with a stimulant (e.g. lectin) to induce the objective antitumor immunocyte.
