PURPOSE:To set the parameter of a fuzzy controller with no need of the trial and error carried out by a periodical gain control rule by increasing and decreasing the gain of the fuzzy controller in response to the increase of the maximum slope of a controlled variable and the increase of the dead time, respectively. CONSTITUTION:In regard of the gain of a fuzzy controller, a gain control rule is turned into a formula by a functional formula where the maximum slope P of a controlled variable (y) and the dead time L are defined as variables. Then these slope P and time L are obtained and applied to the gain control rule. Thus the proper gain of the fuzzy controller is obtained. Therefore the gain of the fuzzy controller is increased in response to the increase of the slope P, then decreased in response to the increase of the time L after these slope P and time L are obtained. Thus the proper gain of the fuzzy controller is decided without carrying out the troublesome trial and error.
