A pair of endless belts are arranged around rollers, forming pre-pressing (A), pressing (B) and rolling (C) sections, and juice collection facilities. In the pre-pressing section crushed prod. is fed onto one of the belts by a spreader, provided by a moveable door, which pressurises the product feed and can be used to control the rate of feed. The second pressing/filtering belt is guided by roller so that it compresses the product from above. In the pre-pressing section the belts are guided by rails. The belts are held together by perforated plates which are spring loaded, pref. in an adjustable manner, to give the required pressure. - The upper belt is guided by rollers.
