OIL TRAP PRIMARILY FOR REDUCING OIL CONSUMPTION OF MOTOR VEHICLE ENGINES

The proposed trap, installed at the engine oil filler opening, recovers oil vapour droplets on suitably tilted surfaces. These surfaces are installed in a housing such that they overlap. The housing is connected to a stub on the engine crank-case. The oil droplets caught in the housing are collected at the bottom, and returned to the engine through the plate.
