The invention concerns a method of preparation of scrap and electronic waste for chemical winning of metals, comprising mechanical reduction of scrap and waste material with metallic elements combined with plastics, characterised in that scrap and electronic waste are reduced by cutting, which is executed in at least one stage at relative speed of cutting elements 5-20 m/s, and after reducing entirety is subject to grain grading and from the process fraction is withdrawn of graining below 0.1 mm being plastics, whereas fraction of graining exceeding 6 mm is subject to reducing once more, and fraction of graining from 0.1 to 6 mm is subject to two-stage magnetic separation, where stage one of separation is executed in magnetic field of intensity 20-160 kA/m and stage two of separation in magnetic field of 80-400 kA/m, and base product of the process meant for chemical winning of metals id withdrawn as magnetic fraction of stage one separation, whereas magnetic fraction of stage two of separation is reversed to reducing process, and non-magnetic fraction of stage two of separation being plastics is withdrawn from process.
