A method of linear extrapolation of prediction time in a microprocessor synchronizer of AC power engineering objects, characterized in that in phase comparators (1, 2) the AC voltages (uA, uB) of both synchronized power engineering objects are compared with a signal (uC) corresponding to a fixed specific phase, and the pulse forms so obtained (u'A, u'B) are fed to a counter with registers (3), in which the time values (ti) are determined for the achievement of the fixed specific phase by the AC voltage of both synchronized power engineering objects, and further these time values (ti) are fed to a microprocessor system (4), where the time differences are determined between the times of achievement of the fixed specific phase by both AC voltages (uA, uB) of the synchronized power engineering objects, and a finite sequence of these differences is approximated by a straight line, the coefficients of its equation being determined by a least square deviation method, following which a zero value is taken for the time differences between the times of achievement of the fixed specific phase by the AC voltages (uA, uB) of both synchronized power engineering objects, and a determination is made of the prediction time (tp), this being the time in which the AC voltages (uA, uB) of both synchronized power engineering objects achieve phase coincidence.IMAGE
