Each automatic direction finding station includes an antenna, receiver, Hilbert transformer, A-D converter, angle distribution of bearings w.r.t. azimuth and a distribution of bearings w.r.t. time are formed in the store. An evaluation computer common to all the stations assigns the bearings and additional information from the station evaluators and fixes a transmitter's position. For transmissions with A1 modulation (on-off keying) a frequency distribution of pulse duration and also one of pause duration is formed by each station evaluator using the stored distributions.
