Composite materials comprise filler-contg., high-temp.-resistant thermoplastic or thermoplastic and subsequently crosslinked polymers as a core material and at least one covering layer of filler-free or only a low quantity of filler-contg. thermoplastic or thermoplastic and subsequently crosslinked high-temp.-resistant polymers. USE/ADVANTAGE - Useful as a sealing material, e.g. in machine bodies, vehicle bodies. They do not leak and are easy to handle. High heat-resistance and chemical resistance are exhibited.
