In the analysis and elimination of perturbations and imbalances.in soils and liqs. using microorganisms, the novelty comprises taking a sample of the liq. or obtaining an extract of the sampled soil to be neutralised, enriching the sample or extract with anions or cations in test series, adding microorganism-contg. solns. and, after a certain time, measuring the deviation from neutrality. ADVANTAGE - The process allows simple analysis and elimination of the effects of contamination, pH variation and the like on the compsn. of soils and waters and is suitable for large scale neutralisation.
