Soils Sampling and Testing Training Guide for Field and Laboratory Technicians on211 Roadway Construction. Mid-America Transportation Center Project: Pilot Study to 211 Determine Personnel Certification Land Training

The development and implementation of Quality Assurance/Quality Control211u001especifications by Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has been a driving 211u001eforce behind the development of a soils training and certification program. The 211u001eobjective of this research project was to develop a training guide for field and 211u001elaboratory technicians responsible for sampling and testing soils used in roadway 211u001econstruction. Soils training and certification will increase knowledge of 211u001elaboratory, production, and field inspectors.
