Automatic gait analyser with evaluating unit - supplied by sensors on lamellae of conveyor belt for walker

A system for the automatic analysis of the walking gait uses an endless rotating running belt (2) with an evaluation unit (6). The running belt has segments (4) connected with each other. Each segment (4) has a sensor part (8) for determining the gait data of any living being. Each sensor part has at least one sensor for horizontal forces (12) and at least one further sensor for vertical forces. - Each segment (4) has a transmitter (9) for transmitting the determined gait data to the evaluation unit (6). A receiver (11) is assigned to the transmitter (9) so that the transmitter and the receiver form a transmission system.
