The inverter circuit arrangement also has the winding of a transformer, for the energy coupling for a high voltage circuit e.g. for the feeding of an X-ray tube, whereby the winding is part of the series resonant circuit in conjunction with a capacitor (C). The winding (W1-W4) of the transformer is distributed in equal part inductances on the branches, such that they respectively lie in series to the thyristors (Th1-Th4) and the free running diodes (D). USE/ADVANTAGE - Medical engineering. Division of winding in parts of equal inductance protects thyristors and improves operating conditions.
