摘要
The analogue/digital converter (1) can be operated in a "continuous" mode, with uninterrupted conversions, and in an "on demand" mode, with single conversions on request and, connected with it, a microcontroller (2a). A first control signal output (PB1) of the microcontroller is connected with the input (CONT/DEMAND) for changing the mode of working of the converter and a second control signal output is connected with the input (WR) of the converter for initiating the "on demand" mode. The microcontroller switches the converter after the start of such a conversion in the "on demand" mode into the "continuous" mode before a control signal is released for reading out the data of the conversion to the converter. ADVANTAGE - Only small number of control lines are needed and yet permits synchronisation.
