The bicycle shed has a roof (11) which supports a sliding frame which consists of an upper tube (31) and a lower tube (32). The frame can slide horizontally on bearings (21, 22) and when in its outer position a bicycle can be suspended from the lower tube by a hook (5) which engages the bicycle handlebars (74). The lower tube (32) can be swung downwards to a position where it is supported by the tie (35). The bicycle is pushed into the shed so that its front wheel is lifted clear of the ground as the supporting hook slides along the lower tube. USE/ADVANTAGE - Bicycle shed which protects bicycle from the weather and guards it against being stolen.
