A place for keeping parts or tools on a production line equipped with suspension hangers for car bodies. A receptacle (11) for the parts or tools moves along parallel to the production line suspended on rails (8, 9), and is fixed to spring loaded arms (15) projecting into the path of the car body carrier (2). By overcoming a predetermined value of the necessary power to drive the part and tool receptacle (4) the arms are swung out of the path of the car body carrier, against the pull of springs.
