The pressure regulator has a main diaphragm (3) that carries a poppet (4) that is moved to vary the size of a flow orifice (5). Attached to the poppet is a valve stem (12) with an armature (9) that forms part of an electromagnetic drive stage (10). Springs (16, 6) provide bias forces. At the top of the unit is a set screw (14) that can be moved to control the setting. Also the electromagnetic actuator may be turned on its thread section (18) to provide adjustment.
