A flow regulating device reacts to pressure in a pipe line to operate limit switches to open and close a circuit coupled to a throttling valve in the line. Flow takes place from input to output over a control valve. A diaphragm located in the wall of the pipe reacts to pressure to move a lever pivotted at one end. As the pressure increases the actuator pin of a contact set is stripped. As the lever moves further an electrical circuit coupled to the control valve is closed. At an upper pressure, a second limit switch is stripped and the circuit opens. The pressure at which the limit switches are operated may be adjusted by varying the position of one of the limit switches over a given range.
