When the resistance value (rH in ohms) of the heat generating resistor (RH) satisfies the following function of the temp. (T is deg.C): rH=rHO(1+alphaT+beta T squared), where rHO is the resistance value in ohms of the resistor (RH) at 0 deg.C, and when the resistance value (RC in ohms) of the compensation resistor (RC) satisfies the following function of the temp. (T in deg.C).: rC= rCO(1+alphaT+beta T squared), where rCO is the resistance value of the resistor (RC) in ohms at 0 deg.C, the linear expression coefft. (alpha) of the temp. coefft. of the effective resistance of the compensation resistor is below that of the heat generating resistor. ADVANTAGE - Requires no temp.-compensating electrical circuit or circuit regulation and air flow can be accurately registered over wide temp. range by thermal type sensor.
