PURPOSE:To manufacture clad material of ferritic stainless steel containing high Al and heat resistant steel by laminating an Al sheet metal having specific thickness and an austenitic stainless steel sheet on one side of a ferritic stainless steel sheet and on the other side thereof, respectively and heating this laminated body to the specific temperature in a vacuum. CONSTITUTION:The Al sheet metal having thickness of 5-10% of a stainless steel thin coil 1 or a thin coil 2 is laminated on one side of the ferritic stainless steel sheet or the thin coil 1. In addition, the austenitic stainless steel sheet or a thin coil 3 is laminated on the other side of the stainless steel thin coil 1. This laminated body is heated to 900-1,200 deg.C in the vacuum. A 2-5% Al-Cr-Fe steel sheet on which an oxide film is formed is used as a release agent of the laminated body. By this method, a wide clad product is manufactured inexpensively.
