ENGLISH WORD SPELLING CHECK SYSTEM FOR INFORMATION PROCESSOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare a document including both Japanese and English words with high efficiency by checking directly the spelling of the English words of the document. CONSTITUTION:When an English word spelling check program is carried out, a Japanese-English word document is read out of a document file A in a file control routine F1. Then the English words are extracted out of the document in an English word extracting routine F2. The spelling of these extracted English words are checked based on an English word dictionary B in an English word spelling check routine F3. Then the checking result of the routine F3 is reported to a display routine F4 where the checking result is shown on a display device 10. If the checking result is not proper, a prescribed spelling error processing is applied to the relevant English word.
