ELECTRONIC SCANNING TYPE MICROWAVE RADIOMETER

摘要

PURPOSE:To suppress a change of brightness temp. accompanied by the variation of an incident angle and to reduce temp. resolving power by electronically changing over the beam of a primary radiator array on the basis of the control signal of a control circuit to perform conical scanning. CONSTITUTION:Two or more sets of primary radiator arrays 2 are arranged on the focus of a torus type reflecting mirror 1 and the beams of these arrays 2 are changed over by two or more sets of a tournament type beam change-over circuit 3 connected at every arrays 2. At this time, the beams of the arrays 2 are changed over in such a form that the sub-arrays of the respective sets constituting the arrays 2 correspond mutually by the control signal generated by a switch driver 4. The output signal from the circuit 3 is amplified and detected by a low noise transmitter 8 and subsequently integrated by an integrator 9 and predetermined processing is performed by a signal processor 10. A scanning region is subjected to electronic conical scanning to suppress the change of brightness temp. accompanied by the variation of an incident angle and temp. resolving power is reduced using the circuit 3, a receiver 8 and the integrator 9.
