PURPOSE: To obtain the subject culture medium, composed of a substance, usable solely as a culture medium material and having strong absorbency and adsorptivity or its mixture with a basal culture medium material such as a porous substance and an antimicrobial substance held therewith and capable of setting a plant with the culture medium sticking to its root. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective bacteriostatically conditioned culture medium having the function to suppress proliferation of microorganisms is obtained by mixing a substance, usable solely as a culture medium material and having strong absorbency and adsorptivity or a mixture of the substance having the strong absorbency and adsorptivity with a basal culture medium material such as a porous or a fibrous substance and an antimicrobial substance mostly held with the substance having the strong absorbency and adsorptivity in a bacteriostatically conditioned culture medium capable of preventing damage from the contamination by the microorganisms, simultaneoysly providing nutriments at a temperature suitable for a cultured plant and surely advancing the conditioning when the plant subjected to sterile culture is conditioned. Furthermore, this culture medium 3 is filled in a conditioned culture medium container 1 having a drain hole 2 and a planting hole 5 is formed with an insert 4.
