RUBBER MANDREL WITH BRAIDED LAYER AND MANUFACTURE OF MOLDED HOSE FOR WHICH RUBBER MANDREL WITH BRAIDED LAYER IS USED

PURPOSE:To provide a mandrel to mold almost uniformly a stitch pattern on an inner layer of a resin layer of the inmost layer of a molded hose and a manufacture of the molded hose for which the mandrel is used. CONSTITUTION:A mandrel 15 possesses a braided layer 19 braided cylindrically of a wire or a fiber having the diameter of 1.5-5 times as thick as a thickness of the foregoing resin layer on the outer surface of a cylindrical body comprised of a rubbery elastic body. Then after an assembled body obtained by inserting the above-mentioned mandrel 15 within a hose 10 is preheated at need, the same is embossed and heated, the mandrel 15 is pulled off from the hose main body 10 after vulcanization molding and a braided pattern is formed on the inside of the resin layer. With this construction, the mandrel 15 can be pulled off easily and used repeatedly. Then since almost a uniform stitch pattern is molded on the inner layer, durability of the hose is improved.
