The method involves providing a braided hose (3), and covering the braided hose with a thermal insulative material layer. The insulative material layer is connected with the braided hose to obtain a tubular body. Another braided hose (4) is provided, where diameter of the latter braided hose is larger or smaller than that of the former braided hose. The former and the latter braided hoses are connected with one another, where the insulative material layer is arranged between the braided hose. The insulative material layer is partly made of a fabric layer or hardened foam. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing a body of a vehicle, comprising a cutting machine.
