PURPOSE:To surely introduce granular meat to a grinding gap and to improve thin piece formation efficiency by rotating a pair of parallel grinding rolls equipped with a great number of specific mechanisms in parallel mutually in the opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:Stationary bearings 3 are supported on one of bearing stands 2 correspondently set on a base 1 and moving bearings 4 on the other and a pair of grinding rolls 6 and 7 equipped in parallel with grooves 10 having depth of 1 /5-1/2 minimum grinding gap S and shape to readily release thin piece meat in the direction parallel to the shaft line are supported in parallel on shafts 8 and 9 engaged with the bearings 3 and 4. Then the rolls 6 and 7 are rotated in the inner directions at constant speed through decelerating motors 13 and 14 and timing belts 11 and 12, granular meat (a) is fed to the gap S of the rolls 6 and 7, the granular meat (a) is partially meshed in the grooves 10 of the rolls 6 and 7 and changed into thin pieces (b).
