MULTICOLOR PATTERN SPRAYING DEVICE AND MULTICOLOR PATTERN COATING METHOD USING THE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To form a pattern which is sporadically painted with various colors in one step by injecting =2 kinds of paints from a nozzle and simultaneously injecting curing agent from a nozzle and atomization air from an air nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The paints are introduced into the paint injection port 5 of a multicolor pattern spraying gun 1, injected from a paint nozzle 11 along the center line L, and brought into contact with a curing agent ejected from an ejector nozzle 10 at point A. The mixture is brought into contact with the atomization air injected from a nozzle 9 at point B and atomized. In this case, the paints must be introduced approximately in a laminar flow into the injection port 5 through hoses 16 without being mixed with one another, and accordingly the viscosity and feed pressure of each paint are appropriately adjusted. A gel coat is used as the paint, and its viscosity at 25 deg.C is ordinarily controlled to about 10-30P. The pressure of atomization air is appropriately adjusted in accordance with the size of the paint particle and ordinarily to about 0.1-1.5kg/cm2.
