PURPOSE: To shorten the packet length and to simplify the address setting jobs by designating the code of a sub-bus network. ;CONSTITUTION: A basic bus network is provided together with a sub-bus network, and a geteway which relays the signals between both networks. The correspondence of the address of the gateway is fixed between both networks and designates the route of the signal to be transmitted by the combination of the code of the network where the transmitting destination belongs and the address of the transmitting destination of the network. A network designating bit is provided to the frame of a control code CC in a packet format. Then, the addresses of the gateway arrays 7 and 8 are fixed to GW1 and GW2 respectively, and the transmission/reception terminals 4-6 designate a self-address SA, an address DA of the transmitting destination, and the network where the transmitting destination belongs respectively in a transmission mode.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
