PURPOSE: To contribute to automatization of the whole of roll shop by accurately stopping a roll chock moving device at a stopping position. ;CONSTITUTION: After the roll chock moving device 4 which runs in a pit 1 is stopped in a range of stopping error to the stopping position by controlling the driving device 5, the roll chock moving device 4 is stopped at the stopping position by projecting a stopper 12 with an actuator 13 in the state that the driving device 5 is made to be free and fitting the stopper 12 into a recessed groove 16 so that the tapered part 14 of that stopper 12 is engaged to the tapered part 15 of the recessed groove 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
