PYROELECTRIC LINEAR ARRAY ELEMENT FOR DETECTING INFRARED RAY

PURPOSE: To separate pyroelectric elements from each other completely and thereby to reduce thermal cross talk, regarding a pyro-electric type llinear array element for detecting an infrared ray which enables execution of temperature measurement and monitoring for prevention of crimes or disasters by using the infrared ray. ;CONSTITUTION: An element support block 14 has temporary cut grooves 16 on the opposite side to the side whereon pyroelectric elements 11 are stuck, and the pyroelectric elements 11 including the element support block 14 are separated from each other completely by cutting the pyroelectric elements together with the element support block at the same positions of the temporary cut grooves 16. A lower electrode of the pyroelectric element 11 can be taken out en bloc from a mounting base 27. According to this constitution, a pyroelectric type linear array element for detecting an infrared ray which brings forth a cross talk little and is excellent can be realized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
