INTERCELLULAR ANTIGEN FOUND IN SUBPOPULATION OF CD8+T LYMPHOCYTE AND MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY REACTIVE WITH THE SAME

PURPOSE: To obtain an intracellular antigen found in subpopulation of CD8⁺T lymphocyte and monoclonal antibody against the antigen and carry out their application and further, obtain a nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide immunologically reactive with the antigen protein and carry out its utilization. ;CONSTITUTION: A 15-kd protein antigen is associated with cytoplasmic granules in cytolytic T-lymphocyte and natural killer cells. Monoclonal antibody is immunologically reactive with the 15 kd protein and a nucleic acid probe encoding a polypeptide that is immunologically cross-reactive with 15 kd protein. The 15 kd protein can be used to identify cytolytic T-lymphocyte in a sample. Cloned cDNA encoding the antigen can be used to produce the antigen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
