EVALUATION DEVICE AND DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE DEVICE FOR FUZZY RULE

PURPOSE: To provide the fuzzy rule evaluation device which can increase the evaluated value of a rule having a large degree of influence upon an output more accurately. ;CONSTITUTION: A fuzzy arithmetic means 1 and a defuzzifying means 2 are connected through a bus. This bus connects an area calculating means 3 which finds the area of a consequent membership function of each rule outputted from the fuzzy arithmetic means 1, a weighted area calculating means 4 which calculates the weighted area of its conclusion part, a characteristic value calculating means 5 which adds the area and weighted area of the conclusion parts of the respective rules by utilizing the calculation results of both the means 3 and 4 to find the characteristic values of the rules, a characteristic value sum calculating means 6 which calculates the sum of the characteristic values of all the rules as a characteristic value sum, and an evaluated value calculating means 7 which finds the mean value (evaluated value) of rates of the respective rules found, calculation by calculation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
