PURPOSE: To facilitate mounting and adjusting by constituting the optical crystalline body in such a manner that the direction of the electric field vector of ordinary rays or extraordinary rays of this crystalline body are judged from the outside shape thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: The optical crystalline body 1 having a rectangular parallelpiped shape has a ridge line cut part 14a provided by cutting off the ridge line intersected with an incident surface 12 of a laser beam and side faces or an angular cut part 14b provided by cutting off the angle formed of the end face and the two side faces.
