METHOD FOR STORING VA GIGASPORA MARGARITA

PURPOSE:To control the water content of a carrier and stably store the spore of VA Gigaspora margarita under the ordinary temperature for a long period by employing a water-holding polymer-mixed carrier as a carrier for the storage. CONSTITUTION:When the spore of VA Gigaspora margarita is stored, a carrier mixed with a water-holding polymer as a carrier for the storage is employed. The water-holding polymer is preferably a polyacrylic acid polymer, a polyacrylamide polymer, a PVA polymer or a polyoxyethylene polymer. The carrier to be mixed with the water-holding polymer is preferably a horticultural cultivation soil such as red soil, volcanic ash soil, fluvial soil, sand, pumice, perlite, zeolite, carbon powder, peat moss, or vermiculite.
