PREPARATION OF LIGHT HYDROCARBONACEOUS LIQUID IN DELAYED COKER

PURPOSE: To provide a process to produce a light hydrocarbonaceous liquid in a high yield with a low yield of coke. ;CONSTITUTION: The process for producing a light hydrocarbonaceous liquid in a delayed coker containing a coke drum comprising (A) heating a hydrocarbonaceous feed for a coke drum thereby obtaining an intermediate product and (B) introducing the intermediate product into the coke drum, converting it into a final product containing light liquid and coke and separating the light liquid from the coke, wherein the step (A) is carried out in combination either with a step (A)(i) or (A)(ii); the step (A)(i) comprising maintaining the feed without externally supplied water or hydrogen in an enclosed space during the step (A), and subjecting the feed at a pressure not less than about 35.2 kg/cm² gauge and then reducing the pressure below about 35.2 kg/cm² gauge prior to the step (B); and the step (A)(ii) comprising contacting the intermediate product from the step (A) with a stripping material (preheated at about 482°C or higher and in a gaseous state at the preheated temperature and the atmospheric pressure) prior to or during the step (B) to solve a part thereof in the stripping material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO
