PERMANENT-MAGNET ROTOR TYPE SINGLE-PHASE EXCITATION MOTOR

PURPOSE:To offset the detent torque of a permanent-magnet rotor type shingle- phase excitation motor and, at the same time, to increase the driving torque of the motor. CONSTITUTION:This permanent-magnet rotor type single-phase excitation motor is provided with main magnetic poles 12a and 12b faced to each other with a gap in between and a rotor 13 arranged in the gap. In addition, auxiliary poles 12c and 12d which are arranged nearly perpendicularly to the main poles 12a and 12b and faced to each other with a gap in between and to which a magnetomotive force is given simultaneously with the main poles 12a and 12b are provided as a detent torque offsetting means.
