PURPOSE: To measure film thickness and moisture content of black ink and film thickness and moisture content of ink other than the black ink, and carry out the quality control of a printing machine with all of color units including a black unit. ;CONSTITUTION: Microwave exciting electric power in resonance frequency is applied respectively to a microstrip line 2a for frequency resonant with ink, a microstrip line 2b for frequency resonant with water and a microstrip line 2c for reference purpose that is resonant neither with the ink nor the water, and operation is made on at least one of film thickness and moisture content of the ink, based on electric power lost out of the applied microwave exciting electric power.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
