POSITRON BEAM GENERATOR

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain the device capable of obtaining a positron beam of high brightness in a simple and miniature structure. ;CONSTITUTION: A spherical (recess face) shape positron emission face 1 is formed by the use of a radioisotope for emitting a positron and a moderator 1b. The positron beam PB of high brightness is generated by deriving the positron from the emission face 1 along the center axis CL of the emission face 1 by the use of an electric field formed by a deriving electrode 3 and an auxiliary electrode 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
