PURPOSE:To provide the sample quick freezing method, a sample quick freezing mixture, and a sample quick freezing device in the liquid dipping method capable of freezing a sample more deeply than by the metal contact method while maintaining the fine structure of the sample. CONSTITUTION:In the sample quick freezing method, a mixed freezing mixture 9 mixed with ethane to propane at the ratio of 10-90% is cooled to a temperature lower than the melting point of propane with a cooling material. A sample S is dipped in the mixed freezing mixture in the cooled state to quickly freeze the sample S.
